Runagate Rampant now features an annotations section for China Miéville's fiction. You are encouraged to contribute with additional annotations, so feel free to e-mail the editor and have our sincerest thanks in advance.

Pages for King Rat and Perdido Street Station are already up as well. Apologies for the delay, expect these to be updated and expanded in the future.

ELECTION RESULTS
Posted Skullday, 8 Tathis, Anno Urbis 2001 by gblack

Despite poor turnout, the people have chosen. China Miéville earned a modest 459 votes (1.2%) from his constituency, losing to Labour party Karen Buck. Karen Buck is a Member for Regent's Park and Kensington North since 1997 and got re-elected with 54.6% of the votes.

We say: exercise your right to vote, dammit!

ELECTION NIGHT
Posted Chainday, 7 Tathis, Anno Urbis 2001 by gblack

China Miéville is running for Parliament, representing the Socialist Alliance and Regent's Park and Kensington North. The Regent's Park and Kensington North constituency includes the famous Notting Hill, as well as some of the liveliest bars and shopping areas of London. In contrast, this area has one of the highest unemployment and crime rates in London.
