Perdido Street Station is a again shortlisted for another literary award, the 2002 Hugo. This year's nominees for Best Novel are:

  • The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold
  • American Gods by Neil Gaiman
  • Perdido Street Station by China Miéville
  • Cosmonaut Keep by Ken MacLeod
  • Passage by Connie Willis
  • The Chronoliths by Robert Charles Wilson

(No Harry Potter this year, sorry.)
